Ras FM was founded in 2000 by a group of passionate individuals who believed in the power of radio to connect people and foster community spirit. Starting from a small studio in Sri Lanka, our journey has been one of growth and transformation. Over the decades, we’ve expanded our reach, upgraded our technology, and diversified our programming to better serve our listeners.

We actively participate in and sponsor local events, from charity runs to music festivals. Our Community Corner showcases the various initiatives and partnerships we are proud to support.
